My undergrad and graduate academics prepared me for a career in teaching Math at the High School and College level. As a grad student I tutored undergrads in Algebra and Calculus as well as pre-Calc. I took a long detour into business after teaching full time for 4 years. My plans for retirement have always been to re-enter the teaching/tutoring field on a part time basis. Currently I substitute at the local STEM school and the local Early College.
