Paul “Andy” Specht is a senior journalism major at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. Specht has been a writer and editor for The Campbell Times for over two years and is the prospective Editor-in-Chief for this fall. He has also contributed to several local papers.
Katherine Devorak studied at The King’s College, located in the Empire State Building. After her sophomore year, Devorak journeyed to Australia, serving as a missionary and studying at The University of the Nations. She returned to the U.S. where she worked as a teacher in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Andrew Terpstra has just finished his last year at Providence Christian College in Ontario California. He majored in Communication with emphasis in journalism. He was part of the first graduating class of the school. He helped start the first literary journal as well as the first student newspaper for Providence.
Rebecca High, an Illinois native, is a 2009 graduate in International Studies from Cedarville University. In August she will depart for Seoul, South Korea to teach at an international school during which she hopes to gain valuable international experience including firsthand observation of the DMZ, metro-navigational skills and attaining the expert level of chopsticks use.
Colleen Marie Kopp is currently a junior and a journalism student at the University of Connecticut. She will be graduating this December, a semester early, and couldn't be happier. She has enjoyed writing for UConn's newspaper The Daily Campus. Becoming the conservative voice for the Op-ed portion of the paper, in an overwhelmingly liberal atmosphere, was truly a learning experience.
Jeffery Scott was born and raised in Landover, Maryland. At the age of 6, he decided he wanted to be a journalist, and never changed his mind. He is a Senior at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. He has worked for Howard University Television in Washington D.
Marilette dela Cruz is a Filipino-American Junior studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at The King’s College, New York City. She is a regular contributor to her college’s weekly newspaper, The Student Voice. Dela Cruz is also an Intern and Production Assistant at the Manhattan-based television production company, True Entertainment, creators of such reality shows as Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Josiah Ryan learned to report by sparring with congressional leadership and big network/newspaper journalists in the hall’s of the U.S. Capitol. Prior to his work in Congress, Mr. Ryan wrote for the metro desk at the Washington Times, covered sports for the Homer Tribune in Alaska, and learned to write AP style at the Collegian during his final year at Hillsdale College in 2007.
Kate Harrison is the news editor for The Bagpipe, Covenant College’s weekly student newspaper. She has also done freelance writing for The Dade County News and the Lookout Mountain Mirror. She is currently a sophomore English major at Covenant, with a concentration in literary studies.
Tim Devaney is an award-winning sports writer from Grand Rapids, where he serves as sports editor at Cornerstone University. Representing the northern-most tip of Maine, Devaney is a proficient story-teller, who writes action-packed game stories, eye-opening features and passionate columns.
Margaret Francois is a fourth-year journalism student at the University of Florida. She grew up in the small town of Mount Dora, Fla., where she started writing at a young age, using her stuffed animals as the subjects of her stories. Once accepted into UF, Francois fell in love with feature writing.
Kathryn Quill was raised in the strongly Christian household of Timothy and Annette Quill. The majority of her education took place in St. Paul Lutheran grade school in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. After 8th grade, she made her way to Carroll High School where she discovered her love of photography, writing, and media.
Esperanza Urbaez is a freelance journalist living in New York. Receiving her BA in Media Studies from Hunter College, she was and still is very active with in her alma mater. Esperanza was a student writer for two campus newspapers. She also participated in the Education Abroad Program studying in Hawaii, Italy, Argentina and India.
Erik Benjamin Medrano is by all means a Social Media enthusiast. He is currently pursuing his BA in Journalism at Regent University and hopes to start an online magazine one day. Erik was raised in Fairfax, Virginia amongst a community of diverse cultures.

Amanda Thomason is a 19-year-old, second year university student in Lynchburg, VA at Liberty University. She is majoring in Communications with a specialization in Print Journalism. Amanda is also pursuing two minors in Advertising/Public Relations and Intercultural Studies.
Ann N. Osborne was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and currently is studying to receive her bachelor's degree in Electronic Media from the University of Cincinnati. She also, is a member of the Ohio Army National Guard and currently is the Public Affairs Representative for the SPT 216th Engineers.
