- Preparing and sanitizing racks
- Operating high pressure hot water washer
- Work with a variety of chemicals for sanitation of lab equipment
- Assessing racks thoroughly during sanitation process for any maintenance required
- Washing glassware, feeders, etc. as required
- Ability to safely wear a respirator required
- Operation and use of Edstrom systems/chlorine injection system to flush racks
- Assist with janitorial tasks of the laboratory area on regularly scheduled basis
- Preform maintenance on racks as needed
- Assist with maintenance of facility
- Other duties as assigned by the Technician Group Supervisor or Study Directors.
- Understand and follow appropriate SOPs, safety procedures, and quality assurance guidelines
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
- Reliability
- enjoyment from working independently as well as on a team.
- Ability to maintain clean and organized work areas, as well as pay strong attention to detail.
- Easily adaptable to a wide range of responsibilities
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and be of the highest integrity.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to wear a respirator
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
