Amcor Flexibles North America (AFNA), a division of Amcor, operates across 35 plants and employs 9,000 colleagues within North America with headquarters in Chicago, IL and Oshkosh, WI. AFNA makes flexible packaging solutions for food and beverage, healthcare, and home and personal care applications.

  • General Labor:
  • Act as a Safety Leader in all responsibilities
  • Maintain the make-ready room in clean condition and place gears in proper location
  • Familiarize and understand the complete operation of the PRI system from distillation to washing parts
  • Assist the crew by cleaning decks, changing cylinders, and other tasks as needed to bring press/laminator back into production
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork
  • Work on the machines as workloads and schedules dictate
  • Check with supervisor to find out where help is needed
  • All other duties as assigned by management and supervisors

Physical Requirements:

  • Computer skills
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environment
  • Ability to lift /push/pull up to 55 lbs
  • Frequent stepping up and down from platforms
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending
  • Frequent use of hands and wrists
  • Previous manufacturing experience a plus

  • Education & Experience Required for all entry-level manufacturing positions
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience a plus
  • Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good organization skills
  • Possess adequate math, measurement, and reading skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • SAP Experience is a plus
