Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Air Services Practitioner to be based in Morrisville, NC. This position is expected to start May/June 2020.

AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity, the Graduate Development Program (GDP). This program is designed to support your assimilation into the organization and assist with creating a foundation of knowledge for a successful career at AECOM. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.

  • Collects and enters data, and applies technical principles and theories.

  • Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.

  • Entry-level position; may not require previous experience.

  • Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, Business, Public Policy or related field.

  • Must be a United States citizen.

  • Must possess a valid US drivers license.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (10 to 20% of time).

  • Willingness to participate in seconded positions at client facilities.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point.

  • Strong written and oral communication, research, quantitative, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and complete multiple technical tasks under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to collaborate with other professionals at varying experience levels.

  • Prior work or undergraduate experience in one or more of the following areas: chemical manufacturing, oil/gas, general manufacturing, heavy industry, federal facilities, power plants, data centers, sustainability, air dispersion modeling, due diligence, or multimedia environmental compliance auditing.
